Of course I went to MG road by auto rickshaw it's the main means of transport in India. Dared to only take photo when it stop at traffic light.
Upon reaching MG road, it was still bright. Saw some frames with photos of Indian god (i think) hanging on a tree. I wonder what would happen if it's raining.

Chinese food is really a favorite food in every part of the world. Even though you hardly can spot a Chinese in Pune, but you'll see many Chinese restaurant like this everywhere. I'm not sure the cook is really a Chinese or not.
Besides restaurant, there are also Chinese hotel or motel or hostel such as this one. What make it a Chinese room anyway?
There are many small alleys such as this and if you missed it, you missed some goodies offered inside.
Small road side stalls also offering some nice nice stuffs. Surprisingly I can't spot any pirated dvd sellers there. I think this is because there is not much demands or strict control by the authorities.
The sky was getting darker as the sun went down meaning MG Road busiest business time started.
The main road is still very busy full with vehicles of all sizes. While the walking paths were full with shoppers with shopping bags in both hands.
Some shops are renovated from old buildings, stuff with latest brands model but in fact it was an old building.
There were also whole new shops which looks striking with neon lights.
A temple was spotted which was so crowded with worshipers.
This temple which build mostly with white marble was very silent anyway.
Beside shops along the main road, there are alleys with more shops to explore but you might feel a bit uncomfortable to walk alone. Anyway Pune hardly heard of any violent crime.
A shop selling fresh flowers. I think it could be use during some religious ceremony in the temples nearby.
Few hours walking on MG road would make you feel exhausted and thirsty. Let's have some coconut water or..
a pint of King Fisher beer! this was my wrong pick as I could easily get drunk, should have drink coconut water..
This is 1 of the item I bought from MG road. Yeah, the golden compass that always pointing to North, not wherever you wanna go.
It's not a normal compass but a sun compass/clock.
On a sunny day, just raise the vene and point twelve XII to north. the shadow will give you the approximate time. Cool!
Looks like an antique too right? If not mistaken, it was sold at around 500 rupees(rm39).
This is the second item I bought. The box really old and dusty.
Inside is four faced Buddha wrapped with a plastic bag.
Phra Phrom is a Hindu god which worshiper need to pray to four side of the faces anti-clockwise.
Hence, this was what I got from my second visit to MG Road Pune.
