Food I had in Pune India in the first week.

o you know that the normal dinner hour in India is 9:30pm?

It's quite late for a Malaysian. However, it's still consider ok for me to have dinner around this time :P

But wait is it really normal? India is +5.5 hours and Malaysia is +8, so in fact 9:30pm in India means 12am in Malaysia!!

Wow no wonder my stomach felt so hungry and I ate so much rice!!!

This is Nasi Briyani that I had at Amdocs cafeteria at Tower 12. Yah those is rice and it's longer. Underneath the rice it's some 'chicken rendang' (dunno what it calls) which is very spicy. The thing that look like s**t is actually some kind of dessert, sweets.

After lunch, we will take some mouth refresher. The green color taste a bit like herbs and the white one is sweet. Just put in your mouth and chew and chew.. hmmm now even your breath is refreshen!

Using a tray like this to get your food in India is very normal. In the cafeteria here, there are section for Indian food and Oriental food(not spicy). You can have a mixture of both and eat as much as u can ^^

So far, I'm having my dinner that cook by the apartment's caretaker everynight. I'm having just rice and non-vege. As I mentioned b4, u just need to tell them you want vege or non-vege. Indian from Northern Indian would prefer chappati to rice as their daily meal.

Another lunch set that I took at the buffet style cafeteria. I wanna try to have a slice of chapati this time. That's the Mongolian soup in the bowl. They told me dun go by the name, just eat. ^^
What happen to Tosai, Roti canai, Roti pisang, Roti planta and Roti Bom?? In fact, India is a big country, so diff place got diff food, diff language, diff writing and diff culture.
Do you know ROTI mean bread in Hindi ?
