The entrance with a big 'fu' means luck in Chinese. They should make the word upside down represent the 'luck is here' so it's better :)

What do you expect to see in a botanical garden? of course it's flowers and plants.. what else? An elephant? ^^ btw, who stick the plastic flowers on the tree branch? and who plucked all the leaves?

If you not into the plants, maybe you can try to do some candid shot of something else that u might be interested in. btw this shot was not taken by me :P

What else you can do? Probably you can try to act artistically to blend yourself into the environment.. composing Chinese, drinking tea or playing Chinese chess might be a good idea as well..

Or maybe feed the animals there..

Learn some Chinese's literature here as well. Act like one even if you don't understand Chinese. Especially when you stand beside Cao Xueqin 曹雪芹 the author of Dream of the Red Chamber or Hung Lou Meng 紅樓夢.

Mostly all the characters in the novel are females. Males in the story are less capable then their female partners. Inside the Cao Xueqin memorial hall, beautiful painting of the females character in the story were hung everywhere.
